Silverback Films won four awards at Jackson Hole on the 26th September 2019:
“Our Planet: High Seas” Winner – Best Ecosystem Film
Awarded to the program that most effectively explores a unique habitat and its wildlife.
“Our Planet: Frozen Worlds” Winner – Best Changing Planet Film
Awarded for the best examination of our changing planet, including human impact, the environment, sustainability and climate change.
“How to Save Our Planet (Opening episode)” (from the Our Planet, “Halo” team). Winner – Best Changing Planet Film – Short Form
Awarded for the best examination of our changing planet, including human impact, the environment, sustainability and climate change.
“How to Save Our Planet (8 x 8’ series)” (from the Our Planet, “Halo” team). Winner – Best Limited Series – Short Form
Awarded to the mini-series with episodes shorter than 20 minutes in length, that most effectively advances a natural history theme.
We were glad “Our Planet” was so well recognised in the conservation awards and that the extraordinary creativity of the “Halo” team had also been rewarded.
