Adam started working at the BBC Natural History Unit in 1998. Over the next ten years he worked on a wide variety of the Units output including landmark series such as Wild Africa and Life, as well as Big Cat Diaries, Bear Diary and Orangutan Diaries, and also Wildlife on One, Bill Oddie Goes Wild and the live series Springwatch.

In 2009 he left the BBC to join Silverback Films where he directed and produced episodes of North America for Discovery as well as Disney Nature’s feature film Bears.

He went on to direct and produce the One Planet and From Deserts to Grasslands episodes of Netflix’s Our Planet.
