Dan is one of the most outstanding technical leaders in the business.  He is a rather unique individual, combining an extraordinarily wide and deep understanding of the technical side of the industry with a highly creative, problem solving mind.  After nearly 10 years at Bristol’s leading post-production house, Films at 59 he has spent the last 10 years as Head of Technical Operations at Silverback Films. His experience includes film-based theatric releases, Giant Screen 3D, digital IMAX, HDR landmark series for SVOD and terrestrial transmission, international 8K transmission and streaming content for the Web.  Dan manages a nine strong team that continue to develop and implement workflows on the bow wave of technology, from acquisition to delivery of productions that regularly wins craft awards globally.
