Watch the Official Trailer for A Gorilla Story

We’re thrilled to share the official trailer for our new documentary A Gorilla Story: Told by David Attenborough, coming to Netflix on April 17.

Nearly 50 years after his first encounter with a baby gorilla named Pablo, David Attenborough returns to tell the story of Pablo’s descendants, living in the mountains of Rwanda today. Blending rare archive with extraordinary new footage – including behaviour never filmed before – the film offers a deeply personal story of legacy, connection, hope and joy.

Our team filmed over more than 250 days across multiple years in Volcanoes National Park, capturing the lives of the Pablo Group across changing seasons, offering a rare and intimate insight into one of the world’s most iconic gorillas.

The film is built on more than 55 years of work by the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund – the world’s longest-running and largest organisation dedicated to gorilla conservation – reflecting a legacy of research, protection and deep understanding of these extraordinary animals.
